FALSE AUTHENTICITY

It becomes more and more difficult to decipher what’s real and what’s not. With the world’s forever-growing technology, making something seem authentic is pretty simple and easy today. This idea of false authenticity is not accepted by many, but it can be used to create awareness of very real situations and circumstances. This series of photos depicts the aftermath of a kidnapping. Although this kidnapping is not real, it makes reference to the kidnapping that happened yesterday, the one that happened the day before, and all the kidnappings that will continue to happen in the future.
